Diffusivity of D in Zirconium Alloy
$$
D = D_0 \exp\left(-\frac{E_\mathrm{d}}{k_\mathrm{B}T}\right)
$$
[In the above formula, the Boltzmann constant is expressed in \(\mathrm{eV\,K^{-1}}\).]

1.5 µm oxide layer. GNF-Ziron that has been allowed to oxidise for 10-15 days such that a layer of O developed. In situ plasma experiment. Discharge tube and vacuum used to expose the sample to plasma. Sometimes called a natural oxide. Data provided by M. Lavrentiev (UKAEA, 2024) with permission from STEP.
