Solubility of Hydrogen in Metals

The solubility of hydrogen in solid materials is an important property for fuel cells, catalysis and nuclear fusion energy research, where its parameterization is essential for modelling the tritium inventory in structural components exposed to fusion plasmas, and hence for the safety, licensing and decommissioning experimental reactors.

This database collects experimentally and theoretically-derived data relating to the parameterisation of models for the temperature-dependent solubility of hydrogen isotopes in relevant materials.
